Life After Learn-to-Skull (aka Sculling 201)

This year you can build on your sculling skills.  Small group sessions are available.

PROGRAM GOALS

Each of the following six areas will be addressed and will be the basis of the program.
  1. Correcting pre –existing bad habits
  2. Breakdown of the stroke.  Pick drill.
  3. Introduction of pause drills and why.
  4. Introduction of RATIO
  5. Learning the use of the legs for power and RUN.
  6. Complete understanding of the parts of the shell and how to adjust and prevent breakage.

2010 Intermediate Sculling Program Information
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, no exceptions.

Program Dates

 

 

 

 

 

 

At least one year of sculling experience is required
Both land training and water training will be involved. In addition, homework will be mandatory.

Classes are held on Monday and Tuesdays.

1st class:     evening 6:00 pm        June 7, 8, 14, 15

2nd class     morning 6:00 am       June 28, 29, July 5, 6

3rd: class     evening 6:00 pm        July 19, 20,  26, 27

4th: class     morning 6:00 am       August 9, 10,  16, 17


Program Cost

Training fee: $150.00

Practice Times

Classes are held on Monday and Tuesdays. Morning sessions will run from 6am-7:30am.  All evening sessions will run  from 6pm – 7:30pm.
